The U.S. Tech Vets Initiative
USTechVets.org is a U.S. technology industry career portal created to connect veterans,
including transitioning military personnel and their family members, with meaningful jobs
in America's technology industry. USTechVets.org is a collaborative effort of the Consumer
Electronics Association (CEA), Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), Monster.com and
Military.com focused on reducing veteran unemployment and giving technology industry companies
access to American’s veteran workforce.
The technology industry is one of American's fastest growing industries and is hungry for
high-quality veteran talent. Through USTechVets.org, veterans can build and post their resumes
to where tech employers can view them. Veterans can also search and view jobs with employers
who are actively seeking to hire them.
With over a million veterans transitioning to civilian life in the next three years, U.S.
Tech Vets provides a way for the technology community to find and hire top quality talent.
Through their membership in CEA, NVTC and other technology associations, thousands of employers
can promote their jobs to American's veterans. Employers can also search America's largest
resume database of over 800,000 resumes to find quality veteran talent.
Help Veterans Transition to Civilian Life by Completing a Quick Survey
Nearly 1 million U.S. veterans, an amazing source of skills and talents, will be transitioning out of the military over the next several years. Monster and Military.com are conducting a survey of veterans and employers to better understand the current veteran employment landscape and help ensure veterans successfully transition to civilian careers. Please take 10 minutes to share your experience and opinion about veterans in the workforce. Click here to participate by March 10.
